As a student going into ML without much of a linear algebra foundation, I'm finding this book highly useful. Starts from the basics and works at a reasonable pace to establish core ML concepts in a way that the reader can not just understand how it works, but EXACTLY why it works.

Having always struggled in my youth I was now motivated to find some way to grasp deeper math concepts. This book does a great job making difficult concepts much easier to understand, in the same way his other book in Algebra does as well.
